Shipping policy

 

International Shipping & Customs Policy

By placing an international order with us, you agree to the following terms regarding customs duties, shipping origin, and returns:

  1. Shipping Schedule

    All orders are processed and shipped on weekdays only (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays).

    • Products available at our UAE warehouse will ship internationally from the UAE.

    • If a product is not available at the UAE warehouse, the balance of the order will be shipped from our South African warehouse.

    • Orders placed from within South Africa will be fulfilled from our South African warehouse.

      Shipping Origins

       

    • International duties and taxes are not included in your purchase price and may apply to orders delivered outside the UAE and South Africa.

    • These fees are levied by your local customs authority and are the sole responsibility of the customer.

    • By placing your order, you acknowledge and accept that you are liable for any such import charges.

      Customs Duties & Import Taxes

       

    • The full cost of redirecting or returning the parcel back to our facility (where possible), or

      • Original shipping fees are non-refundable.

        In the case of a return:

         

        Accepting that the package may be destroyed by customs authorities, for which no refund will be issued.

        Refusal to Pay Duties / Unclaimed Parcels

        If you refuse to pay import duties or the parcel cannot be cleared through customs, you will be liable for:

    • If a parcel is returned or destroyed due to the customer’s refusal to pay duties, no refund will be issued under any circumstances.


Undeliverable Packages

 

  • If the courier / delivery company attempts delivery and it is undeliverable due to incorrect address, repeated failed delivery attempts, or failure to collect from a pickup point, the order will be considered forfeited.

  • In such cases, no refund will be issued, and any return handling (if applicable) will be at the customer’s expense.


Delays

We strive to process and dispatch all orders promptly. However, once your order has been collected by the courier, delivery times may vary and are beyond our control. Delays due to customs, weather, strikes, or other unforeseen circumstances are the responsibility of the courier company and not of ZMed Skin.

Courier Delays: If your order is delayed while in transit, we are not liable for the delay. We will, however, assist you in tracking the parcel and liaising with the courier service where possible.


If you choose to cancel your order after it has already been dispatched, you will be:

  • Liable for the full cost of shipping the item back to us as well as the initial shipping cost when you placed the order.

  • Charged a handling and restocking fee of 20% of the order value (whichever is greater), which will be deducted from your refund.
